We popped into the Bouillon des halles without a booking last week and with a bit of juggling the staff managed to accommodate us as they were very booked up. During our stay last year we found this restaurant and again were lucky to get a seat, once again they were booked up. The staff were really friendly and happy. They looked like they were really enjoying the night. We opted for the fondu as we missed out on it during our trip around the Alps. Like our meal last year it was very good. We are not usually dessert eaters, but I was reminded of the profiteroles I had last year and had to return down memory lane. Leave space, as they are worth trying. The chef and the staffs were very friendly â they recommended the right amount of food for us and even suggested not to order too much. Le serveur ronchonne que ce n'est pas une heure pour arriver, nous expliquons que la rĂ©servation est pour 21h30..on nous installe...nos voisins de table prĂ©cisent qu'ils sont arrivĂ©s Ă l'heure et ont Ă©tĂ© Ă©galement reçus comme des chiens dans un jeu de quille. Bref Ă 21h50...et une dame vient faire la remarque au serveur qui vient prendre notre commande que nous sommes arrivĂ©s 20mn en retard et qu'il ne doit pas nous servir....il prend quand mĂȘme notre commande...et quelques minutes plus tard...un autre monsieur vient nous annoncer que nous ne serons pas servis et que nous devons partir que le chef a pĂ©tĂ© un plomb et s'est barrĂ©...Le bouillon des halles est dans le jus !!!! Nous avons fait 80kms aller retour pour manger cette fameuse fondue aux morilles et nous avons juste Ă©tĂ© mis Ă la porte !! Ayant un airbnb juste en face du restaurant, je le recommandais Ă mes clients.... dĂ©sormais je le dĂ©conseillerai.. Nous avons fini la soirĂ©e Ă L'atelier de Louis.... qui avait fermĂ© sa cuisine, mais qui nous a prĂ©parĂ© de quoi manger.. avec un accueil trĂšs chaleureux...dommage pour le bouillon des halles, le patron est sympa...mais visiblement pas prĂ©sent ce jour lĂ ..
