Great tasting pho! We have been eating pho here for months and it has been a true delight! The service is very consistent, they try their best to provide a nice experience, generous with their servings and well packaged when you order for home. The broth of the pho is rich and aromatic, they give a good amount of noodles and beef, and the herbs are fresh and aromatic too! I do wish that it's served a bit hotter at place, but other than that everything else was perfect. The setting of the restaurant reminds me a lot of your typical diner in Vietnam(just slightly more classy), but it definitely brought some nice childhood memories. Pho 38 is without a doubt the best Vietnamese restaurant I have ever been. Living here( in Grenoble) as a student for two years, going to Pho 38 every week( it is not a lie) has become one my favorite habits. The food is amazing. I cannot recommend enough their PHO XAO, it has a variety of flavors mixed perfectly in one dish. The lady at the front is super welcoming and sweet. Unfortunately, even though I'm leaving soon, Pho 38 will be the first place I will visit when I come back...

I had a pho there and the soup tastes delicious! The texture of the vermicelle is also perfect.

The serving size is rather small though for the price, especially compared with other Vietnamese restaurant … as a girl I felt as if I had nothing after finishing the entire bowl, it should probably be doubled. ( it’s the smallest pho I’ve ever had in France )

And they gave us very little bean sprout and Thai basil, which are barely fresh.
