Restaurant Prince Indien — Restaurant in Grenoble

Just paid for the most disappointing indian food in my life. I went here after the Indian place I wanted to order from was closed, and hoped this would be okay. It wasn't. While the staff were fine, I think the chef wasn't in the kitchen most of the time where he should have been.

My vegetable curry was frozen veg in no sauce at all. The vegetable byrianni was basically parboiled yellow rice with frozen veg and no spice. The chicken korma was watery and flavourless and the tandoori chicken was dry and tiny cut pieces not as advertised on the menu. The eggplant curry was okay but lacked the flavour I expected.

I love Indian cuisine and I am fuming at how bad this was. I don't like to complain but if I felt like I get a refund I would ask for it! There are so many great places for indian food nearby, and I took a chance on this one...

Worst worst worst Experience!!! Won’t recommend to go even just for try also. Owner behaviour was not good, even he did not think that he is talking to a girl. His staff made a mistake while serving the food and when we asked same thing to owner he was not accepting it and instead of accepting he just started fighting in very bad tone. We were speaking in english because our french friends was also with us so he told he don’t Know english and speak me in hindi then only I will talk, he asked to speak us in hindi because he don’t want to let other people know his mistake and his behaviour.

Food Quality is bad, and it’s tasteless🥺worst...

Voyant que les commentaires son très différents, je ne serai pas surpris s'il s’avérait que ce restaurant sélectionne ou discrimine sa clientèle en fonction de ces propres critères ( accueil sélectif, différence de traitement) donc je m'en tiens à mon expérience sachant que pour vous ce sera peut-être mieux ( si vous êtes indien par exemple je ne sais pas )

Je ne vous recommanderai pas ce restaurant, en tout cas dans mon cas j'ai commandé avec livraison à domicile: le plat soit disant "du prince" j'ai payé le prix fort pour un repas tout à fait banal ( une sorte de riz cantonais avec de rares tout petits morceaux de viande et de légumes absolument aucunes sauces ni épices, en fait c'est quasiment du riz blanc quoique très légèrement parfumé)

Certes c'est tout à fait comestible, ce n'est pas mauvais mais ce n'est certainement pas un repas digne d'un restaurant, même ordinaire ... Ne croyez pas que je fait ma fine bouche j'ai juste commandé un repas à 30 Euros et je me retrouve à "bouffer" un kilo de riz J'ai bien mangé mais faut pas exagérer on commande pas au restaurant pour se rappeler de la cantoche :) mieux vaut en rire c'est assez comique "Restaurant Prince Indien" c'est pas un restaurant, c'est pas du tout, mais alors pas du tout un repas de Prince, et c'est pas indien non plus.

Au passage je peux vous certifier que j'ai apprécié des restos Indiens bien moins chers, plus demandés et bien plus gastronomiques mais malheureusement c'est ce resto qui ma été proposé en premier par le site ( algorithme ?) et les photos sont très trompeuses par rapport à ce que l'ai reçu c'est très très différent je serai plus vigilant la...
