Outstanding swift and friendly service, good value for money lunch menu and a lively decor, made this a perfect stop for lunch with the whole family.

Why not five stars I hear you cry? Well to be honest if I was only judging service and decor then they were 100% there. The quirky corners and artwork make this an instagrammers paradise! However I have eaten at too many good crêperies in my life, I could taste the fact that the butter wasn’t the best quality or that the black pudding and apples in my crepe were not cooked to order.

Enid’s menu was great, chips were delicious and despite having to turn away people without a booking from 12.20 onwards the staff were faultless.

If you have never been to a Mami Bigoude, you are missing out. The decor has to be seen to be believed. I have been to this one three times now over a period of several years, and am never disappointed. Tables are in themed rooms of a house. This time my daughter and I were in the bathroom! It was a bit hot, as it was a small space without a lot of air movement, but otherwise, up to expectations. Great crepes and gallettes! Make a reservation, you won't be sorry. I do wish we had ordered a sweet crepe for dessert instead of the pudding-like "pot tata" and "pot papy bigoude," served in a jar.
