SUSHI BAR — Restaurant in La Rochelle

We had so much food here and it was all DELICIOUS.

I started off with tempura prawns, which were huge and a really generous portion of them was provided too!

For the main, we ordered a few different items each to try, as we were really hungry and loved the look of so many things. The sushi was delicious, from start to finish, and I was truly blown away by my Pho. The broth was so full of flavour and the meat was incredibly tender.

Everything we had at Sushi Bar was really reasonably priced and didn’t disappoint at all. The owners were also so nice, making the experience even more amazing. Plus, we caught Sushi Bar as it had just opened for lunch, so it was really quiet too!

Both service and food were great! It's definitely a "must try" place. If you love traditional Asian flavours - ask for a spicy souce (you will get it for free). All the food seems adjusted to European taste, but ingredients and the way they cook are very special. Also its a family business, so it feels like home. Best of luck...

Avis très mitigé. Nous avons déjeuné la semaine dernière. En arrivant devant, nous avons hésité à rentrer car c'était très sombre et il n'y avait qu'un couple. Nous avons quand même tenté vu les bons avis. Il faut faire l'impasse sur la déco. L'atmosphère était très bizarre. Les lumières passaient leur temps à s'éteindre et se rallumer. Donc parfois, il faisait très sombre. Nous avons attendu plus de 30min pour des sushis sachant qu'il n'y avait que nous et un autre couple qui eux mangeait déjà. Personne d'autres n'est venus. Le couple qui tient le resto s'est engueulé plusieurs fois dans leur langue natale. Le ton est monté. Et pour finir, la chasse d'eau des toilettes ne fonctionnait pas. Il a fallu tourner nous même le robinet d'eau pour qu'elle se remplisse. Heureusement, les sushis étaient bons. Nous n'avons pas...
