The Famous Pub — Restaurant in La Rochelle

It was a busy Saturday, so I tried to be understanding, but this was a terrible visit. Drinks came fairly quickly and were well executed, but the food was a challenge. Two of our four plates came out after 35 minutes, but they were cold. Then we had to wait another five minutes for the other two plates. When we alerted the server of the cold food, he apologized and took our plates. Another 5-10 later, we get the same plates back with the same food that was barely warmer. Decent bar but ridiculous service systems.

Sitting at the bar and the bar staff are not allowed to serve you. They force you to wait for a waiter to come past, which is quite infrequent.

And then they asked us to pay well before we wanted to leave, just because the waitress said she was finishing her shift. Then she stayed working for another hour.
