Avoid if you are with children.

The service we received was almost comedic. We sat down in the specified cafe area to have a coffee and hot chocolate and after an initial warm welcome we were then met with almost complete contempt by one of the waitresses.

My children were well behaved whilst we were there, we were talking about our morning exploring the city and reading a book. All very peaceful and quiet.

But the continuous glares from one member of staff made it very clear that even silent children were too much of a burden.

In fairness we did manage to spill a quarter of a teaspoon of sugar, and after I paid I returned to tidy it up whilst collecting our bag. However our not so friendly waitress dashed over and exaggeratedly huffed and hawed cleaning every surface. Lifting every chair and banging them on the floor, making more noise and disturbing the other guests more than we did during our stay.

Message understood, children are not welcome even if they are well behaved.

Lunch for 9 on our table and restaurant was fully booked mostly groups so reservation before is necessary. The plates were nicely presented and all dishes enjoyed. La cuisine est excellente, les prix sont très raisonnables par rapport à la qualité. En revanche le service en salle dès l’accueil n’est pas à la hauteur car vous êtes invisibles à l’arrivé, à 13h. Si vous vous manifestez une personne aux cheveux attachés vous demande d’attendre, sans sourire, le temps qu’elle encaisse, 1,2 3 tables… ladite personne vérifie ensuite notre réservation (demandée avec la vue sur mer pour 13 h ) sans amabilité aucune. Elle va nettoyer deux tables, chacune pour 2 personnes, dont 1 très belle face à la mer. Je lui demande si nous pouvons l’avoir, d’autant plus que l’autre est en plein soleil et que je suis avec un enfant. Elle me répond que non car elle a été réservée avant moi…. Deux couverts sont dressés… et 1 seule convive y sera finalement installée, à 13h30. Cherchez la logique… Ni le plat du jour ni le dessert du jour ne m’ont été présenté. Avoir l’idée d’apporter un couteau et une fourchette pour manger le carpaccio d’ananas serait un plus non négligeable. Prévoir un ou deux plats spécifiques pour les enfants serait...
