The issue wasn’t necessarily the food—it was the staff. During our visit, we witnessed a particular employee, a young woman with curly red-brown hair, openly mocking our accents and nationality while speaking with other customers. Frankly, if the baked goods had been exceptional, I might have overlooked the behavior. But unfortunately, not only was the staff disrespectful—seemingly assuming we wouldn’t notice—but the food itself was underwhelming. The cream in the éclair was curdled, and the pastry was dry. If you’re going to treat paying customers with such contempt, the very least you could do is offer a product that justifies such rude behavior. I will absolutely not be returning. We stoped here on a roadtrip and absolutely loved it. Great pastries all around and the chicken quiche was to die for. The lovely lady working the cash register was so helpful and patient to us as tourist. We got the quiche, plain croissant, pain au chocolate, beignet, and baguette and everything was delicious. Finally decided we should have a bouche de Noel since we had been looking at them all over Paris-- my sister in law said it was everything she hoped it would be. I would agree, beautiful and delicious. We also bought a couple pain au chocolat for my nieces, who said they were amazing. Very lovely and friendly and so glad they were open....
