The burgers had an incredible flavour, I had the big fernand and my friend had le victor. I loved the taste of my burger I do think there's a texture problem I missed a crunch to give that extra bite! That would totally lift the burger to another level, I'd suggest something like red cabbage or even red beet to add a pop of color and to not interfere with the flavour too much.
Le victor had in my opinion one of the best onion compotes I've ever had this one wasn't too sweet and still had that really nice tang of the onion! I do think the cheese was rather overpowering maybe too much was added, which can happen! This one also missed a good bite but again the flavour was REALLY good.
The service was incredibly quick! The staff were really friendly and asked if everything was okay whilst we were dining which is a rarity for a burger joint like this!
Overall an incredible experience with great staff and delicious food to me definitely worth visiting if...

Aujourdâhui on se retrouve chez Big Fernand, un des top Burger de Lille. PremiĂšre impression sur le Burger Big Ferdinand :
-Concernant notre arrivĂ©e, lâaccueil se fit lĂ©gĂšrement attendre (2mn05 montre en main). Cependant, une fois ce lĂ©ger dĂ©lai passĂ©, lâaccueil fut agrĂ©able et efficace. Nous avons pu tout de suite commander nos burger aux fourneaux. LâentrĂ©e est ouverte sur la cuisine, ce qui est un symbole dâune grande honnĂȘtetĂ© et qualitĂ© culinaire. Un point indispensable pour tout Ă©tablissement qui se respecte.
-Concernant la nourriture, nous avons mangĂ© en tĂȘte Ă tĂȘte de Fernand et ses 12 apĂŽtres, un burger classique de la maison : El classico dela Burger dela casa de Fernando. Le burger, servi dans du papier (Ă©cologique ? A verifier..), propose un assortiment dâaliments disproportionnĂ© a lâimage du pain qui est prĂ©sent en abondance. En effet, le pain semble Ă©touffer le reste des aliments qui sont par ailleurs dâune noble qualitĂ©. Parlons maintenant du steakos : la cuisson demandĂ©e au prĂ©alable a Ă©tĂ© respectĂ© Ă la lettre. Câest un steak Ă©pais et tendre qui semble fondre dans la bouche. Ă lâinverse du pain, la sauce semble timide et ne peut sâexprimer Ă la hauteur de ses qualitĂ©s. Malheureusement, aucun support Ă sauce nâest disponible sur le plateau ce qui nous a forcĂ©, aprĂšs une intense reflexion, Ă trouver un morceau de plastique (Ă©cologique ? La question se pose..) afin de sâen servir comme support. Gros point fort Ă noter concernant les frites, appelĂ©es ici Fernandines ( jeu de mot douteux ? La question se pose Ă©galement).
Lâambiance est vraiment agrĂ©able avec une ouverture lumineuse qui offre un instant rayonnant sur le ciel bleu (et rare) de Lille. Le cadre vintage alterne entre brique Lilloise et planche de bois (Ă©cologique ? RĂ©flexion Ă mĂ»rir). Des photos en noir/blanc habillent les murs de personnes inconnues. Je fus trĂšs gĂȘnĂ© de dĂ©guster un plat sous les yeux de ces personnes anonymes.

ConcentrĂ© sur la rĂ©daction de mon commentaire, jâai momentanĂ©ment perdu lâattention que je portais Ă MA cruche dâeau. Je ne fus que surprise quand en me retournant vers elle je dĂ©couvris son absence. Vous lâaurez compris, elle me fut subtilisĂ©e par un employĂ© alors mĂȘme quâelle Ă©tait encore pleine ( Ă©cologique ? Ă creuser..)
