This was very bad. We asked for the wine list and were told that the waiter ‘was the wine list’. It transpired that they had 3 red wines for us to choose from. All bad. We opted for cocktails instead and my negroni was made in the glass, the gin was missing and it hadn’t been stirred. The menu for the evening had croque monsieur or lasagna as the main course options. That was it. A delightful family run tiny Bistro. It's only got a handful of tables so you really need to book in advance. They have a small daily changing menu which is written up on a blackboard. I had the plait dujour which was a beef casserole in wine with tiny bits of pasta and carrots and onions and it was absolutely amazing! The staff speak very good English and the owner really tries to help you decide about the food and the wine without hurrying you and you can take your time. Visited on a Thursday evening and Saturday lunchtime, both were absolutely amazing. Such a hidden gem and full of locals.

Delicious food and great options for vegetarians also. Highlights were the tempura cauliflower, the vegetable croquettes and the sausage & mash. All perfectly cooked. All staff are brilliant. Chefs are amazing and the servers are super friendly and helpful.
