I went with my partner recently during our visit to Lille. The staff served everyone else before us for no reason. Once they did they were rude and dismissive, and gave eachother weird looks while serving us. My smoked salmon baguette had huge bones and scales in it which I couldn’t bite through and had to spit out. I ordered a hot chocolate which took the roof of my mouth off and may as well have been lava. The chocolate twist was nice. Wouldn’t recommend this place to practice your french as you will get laughed at and get made to feel like an english prat. I felt awful...

I recently visited this boulangerie and I have to say, the bread and pastries were absolutely delicious! There are lots of choices, and the atmosphere inside the boulangerie was also charming especially for the floor upstairs.

However, I was disappointed with the service. The waitress I encountered was not attentive and seemed uninterested in providing good service. I hope the management will take this into consideration and improve the service.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this boulangerie for its delicious baked goods, but be prepared for less than...
