What a great place! After a long day of driving, we checked into The Babel Community Hotel. The weather was stormy and we were tired, so we decided to try the restaurant in the hotel instead of driving into town. I’m so glad we made that choice. We were lucky enough to get a few recommendations on the menu directly from Chef Lucas before ordering. The food was absolutely fantastic. It was truly one of our favorite meals from the two weeks we spent in France. With a large shared appetizer, main courses, side dishes, and 3 drinks, we paid less than €40 per person…unbelievable! If I lived in Lille, I would definitely frequent this place. Footnote: We came back down to the bar for a nightcap, and the drinks were mixed exactly the way we like...

Bonjour, l' endroit est très agréable et le personnel accueillant, en plus, à proximité du lieu de travail c'est super. Quelques points de déception pour une première visite. L'onglet de bœuf était beaucoup trop salé. Ils ont fait le choix de séparer les légumes du plat. Mon époux a voulu se faire servir une bière pression en 33cl, non noté sur la carte, il a obtenu un refus, je pense que lorsqu'il s'agit d'une bouteille je peux le comprendre, pour une bière en pression c'est dommage on aurait payé le complément. Un peu surprise d'être servi dans un plat en alu ou inox, je préfère de beaucoup une assiette, le plat me fait penser à une cantine. A revoir dans plusieurs semaines s'il y a des...
