Sweet Flamingo — Restaurant in Lille

Food was very disappointing. Hash browns had raw egg and batter. They were more of a frittata with onion skin than proper hash browns. French toast was also raw with runny, soggy eggs in the middle. They served us Tabasco that was brown and moldy. When we told them our feedback, they removed the charge for one of the orange juices we had at our table. It was 25€ per person. Not worth it. 👎👎👎

Really terrible food. Strange and extremely random “brunch” menu - never seen anything like it... a weird selection of beige foods all on one plate. Expensive for the poor poor quality of food. Very disappointing after seeing so many 5 star reviews for this place… I wonder if some reviews are fake?! Food took ages to come out and they didn’t bring our drinks out until the food came, instead of at least giving us our drinks whilst we waited. Although the place opens at 10:30, don't expect any food (or clean tables, or a clean space) before 11:00. If the place opens at 10:30 they should at least receive packages before that, and not welcome costumers with a room full of cardboard boxes and plastics all over. I wish they would just open at 1100 if they can't accommodate people before that.
