Le Convivial — Restaurant in Limoges

Sports Bar? No! Convivial? Definitely not! I am visiting from New Zealand and was hoping to see the France v All Blacks rugby game live on television on Saturday morning. Game starts at 09:30 am. Went to the bar to ask about this a few days before the game and they said “Oui Oui you are welcome to watch the game here but we don’t open until 10:00 am”. They even wrote down the time so that I could understand what they were saying. I told them that was great, thanks, and said that I would see them at 10 a.m. on Saturday. However I walked right across town and got there at 10am this morning, Saturday. The staff were there, including one person I had spoken to on my earlier visit, but they said “You can’t come in - we don’t open until 11 am”. The game would be finished by 11 am. The boss woman was unsmiling, very unfriendly, nasty and unpleasant. So much for French...

Bon restaurant situat prop de l'estació de tren, només entrar ens va rebre el propietari, un portuguès molt simpàtic, i ens va explicar com funcionava el menú, un primer de bufet lliure, un segon a escollir entre dos plats del dia i postre, tot per 13€, bon preu i bones racions, el menjar és cassola i molt bo. Les postres amb una gran varietat per escollir son boníssimes, sobretot els tiramisús. El servei és ràpid, eficient i molt atent perquè no et falti res. De passage pour un déplacement pro on est pas sur du 4 étoile mais j'ai était très bien reçu le serveur et la cuisinière très agréable et la cuisinière et particulièrement jolie en plus . Je n'ai rien a dire les tarif son raisonnable les plat fait maison et l'accueil sympathique .merci a vous car malheureusement on a de plus en plus souvent l'impression de gaspiller notre argent en mangeant au restaurant car la qualité cuisine est service son parfois médiocre .
