The staff are helpful and speak excellent English to support my very imperfect French. Both meals were fine but not exceptional. We both had a main course and dessert together with sharing a half bottle of a Sancerre red. However when you consider the €114 (ex gratuity) it was just too expensive for the meal. We made a booking a month before visiting and we then confirmed the booking as requested the day before. Once we arrived, the waiter immediately said that he couldn’t find the booking on the system and refused to give us a table despite the restaurant being approximately 2/3 empty. Only after complaining for five minutes and showing a screenshot of the booking confirmation, he reluctantly gave us a table.
