The plain and chocolate croissants were delicious, I paid €3.50 for 3 so distant price. Then we decided to go for afternoon coffee and a cake and total disappointment. Both coffees were not nice (decaf coffee and cappuccino). Firstly they were from "press the button machine", not from a proper coffee maker. Then, they were flavourless and they wanted to charge us 50p for the milk when it was their mistake. Cakes were nothing special. Friendly staff and spoke English. We happily discovered this boulangerie and patisserie when we wandered just past the clock. Tour groups and tourists were filling the patisseries by the corner opposite the Chateau but we are happy we ventured farther. Service was friendly and excellent and we stopped for lunch as well as picking up delicious patisserie items for our daughter’s birthday.
