La Poêle à Crêpes — Restaurant in Lorient

I recently dined at this restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I ordered a crepe, which came with a side salad, and to my utter shock, I found a worm in the salad. This was extremely disturbing and immediately raised serious concerns about the restaurant's hygiene standards.

Discovering a worm in my food is completely unacceptable and clearly indicates a lapse in proper food safety and cleanliness practices. I brought this issue to the staff's attention, and while they did apologize, it didn't change the fact that such a serious oversight occurred.

Food safety is non-negotiable, and this incident has left me deeply concerned about the overall hygiene measures in place at this establishment. I strongly urge the management to thoroughly review their food preparation and handling processes to ensure that such issues do not happen again.

Regrettably, I won't be returning to this restaurant, and I advise others to think twice before...

Busy Creperie, crepes were very good and the €13 euro menu for a galette, crepe and a boule of cider was excellent value for money. Only three stars because the service was a bit abrupt from some waitresses , and we felt as if there was an air of 'stupid tourists ' coming from others ( maybe it had been a long season) Having said that the food came quickly and the girls bringing that out were very pleasant. The main reason for the three stars is that when we finally got someone's attention to ask for the bill we were told to go inside to pay, which my husband did waiting in a queue, only to be asked for a table number, at no point was that pointed out. He went back outside only to find our table didn't have a number, then had to find another waitress to get one, then wait in another longer queue to pay. Not the end if the world, just annoying and worth noting...

We had a delightful experience at the la poêle a crèpe restaurant. The food was not only delicious but also incredibly stomach-filling. The warm welcome we received added to the overall pleasant atmosphere. However, the service, while acceptable, could be better organized to enhance the dining experience. There was only one main man to take the orders. He was friendly and polite, we felt to make his night easier that he could have had some assistance. Overall great.
