BAD BAD BAD service and below average food!
I arrived and ordered a medium rare Entrecôte. Everything went well, the welcoming, the quiet ambiance was good until the food arrived. The beef was extremely hard and chewy, even the knife couldn't cut through yet I didn’t say anything. A waitress came to check on me and asked how the food was. I told her that it was too tough and her first reaction when she received the comment was that “Oh really? Never had anyone made such a comment”. That was not a good response to a complaint but I thought maybe she was just too honest. Anyway she offered to change for me despite me refusing it (because I knew it would be the same beef anyway).
The new dish came looking better yet it was almost raw and guess what STILL SUPER TOUGH. I did the best I could but it was too raw and tough so I gave up more than half of it. Another waitress came to check on the dish and also gave me the same response which was that I was the first one to say their beef wasn’t good.
When I paid the bill, I decided to tell the owner/manager (an older guy) about the experience hopefully he could be more understanding but he cut me off when I was talking with a rude response “This kind of talk doesn’t interest me”. I left with anger and shock.
Worst experience and food ever in France that even my local French friends were surprised and embarrassed to witness.

Read moreOur meal would have been wonderful if it had been hot but it was served barely warm and most was cold. I had the rouget barbet and st jaques at 31€ it was the most expensive dish on the men and it looked lovely. I sent it back but all they did was try to warm it through a little which didn't make much difference by which time my husbands duck was also getting cold so his meal was spoilt to. The restaurant was not busy so I would have expected my meal to be cooked again from scratch or money taken off the bill when I complained. Very disappointing its not hard to serve hot food to two people when the restaurant is quiet. Doesn't bode well for high season!!! Sorry very disappointing...
Read moreImpossible à joindre par téléphone, on se rend sur place. Au bar, le responsable met du temps pour répondre à notre bonsoir et le fait sans nous regarder… il nous rétorque, vous avez réservé ? Ben non, on ne parvient pas à vous joindre ! Réponse : oui c’est normal, on ne répond plus, trop d’appels et on est complet… Comme c’est agréable !
On fait l’effort de venir car pas de réponse (il suffirait de préciser sur le répondeur que c’est complet, plus simple et respectueux pour les clients) et l’accueil est plus mauvais qu’aux impôts.
Bref, je n’ai pas compris comment réserver une table dans ce restaurant, mais au regard de l’accueil, je n’y retournerai pas et déconseille vivement cette adresse.
Je vous remercie pour votre réponse, on sent vraiment le pro ! Vous ne faites que confirmer les avis précédents et le miens... Donc vous n'avez pas le temps de répondre au téléphone, mais vous prenez le temps de consulter les profils... et ne retenez que le mauvais, ah oui, normal, vous vous identifiez. Continuez de vous ridiculiser en publique, vous faites le bonheur de vos confrères ! Le roue tourne... vous ne pourrez pas éternellement surfer sur un petit succès d'estime sans vous remettre en question. PS : Nous avons diné en face, une crêperie très agréable, et avons été très bien reçu, très bien mangés, quelle chance. Pour info, la seule étoile, c'est uniquement parce qu'on ne peut pas mettre 0. Vous parlez d'égo... arrêtez de vous croire...
