Love the decorations. Ordering is via the QR code on each table and then you pay at the counter when you’re finished. The system is literally an introvert’s dream. Of course the downside is if your phone is dead or if for some reason you’re traveling throughout Europe without picking up a SIM or eSIM. But just talk to them and they’ll help you if that’s the case. The site has an option to translate but it only translates the table number lol. If you’re on Safari on iOS, select the puzzle piece next to the url and hit translate to English. You’re good from there. Onigiri. Loved it. Ordered several times “á emporter” to take and eat on our journey after. You’ll either have to tell them or use the special QR code on the wall to order to go specifically. Udon beef noodles = pure gold. It’s really just fancy ramen but when you do it right, it’s gold. Bao Vegetarian. I’m not the biggest fan of baos in the first place but I wanted try a breadth of things. Not bad. Jiaozi bœuf et oignons. It’s a normal type dumpling like you’d expect from a store. It’s cooked and crisped well. All In all, went several times while in Lyon and will go again upon return.

The staff was nice and friendly, but this cannot be called a sushi/japanese restaurant. I got a donburi and ended up with a bowl of rice with a fried chicken on top. Donburi is supposed to comes with runny eggs, oignons and a delicious sauce in which the meat is simmered, not just rice. I was already surprised when the staff asked me if I wanted eggs as an add-on, but then got some cold hard boiled eggs... Even the rice was not right. Wife got the sushi and was also looking forward to leave and go look for another place to go have a second dinner. Seriously, stay away...

We called to be sure open and serving. They didn’t bother to mention that only partial menu available. Can only view menu and order from QR code so if battery down or bad connection (which it is) that’s a problem and quite annoying system. Waitress busy eating her lunch. Food was small bowl for €15+ and kind of greasy beef that made me nauseous. A bit grungy. If Xmas decorations are tattered just don’t put them out.

Came twice first time right before they close they wouldn’t seat us second time right before they opened they told us we had to wait 20 minutes even though they were open at 6:30 according to Google maps please avoid here because they clearly don’t want business

— EDIT: As you can see from the owners response below they’re also quite rude and even if YOU say your place of establishment opens at 7 PM as everyone can see on Google map its says opening time is 6:30. So misleading information right off the bat.

Any other resectable restaurant would’ve at least sat someone down and give them a drink while all of your staff waited and ate with the door wide open and the lights on, ( which in the world we live in, would signify a restaurant is open)

There’s many other Ramen places in Lyon to hit up, ones who would would probably appreciate business more...
