La Squadra — Restaurant in Lyon

Before going I should have checked the reviews here. Don't go there, unless you are about to die... (Even then, just walk 2 meters and go to the Bao place next door).

We were looking for a pizza, nothing fancy. The food wasn't great, but the worst part was the service. Two waiters, one nice and professional and the other who wasn't taking his job very seriously: he seemed he thought he was a comedian in a play. Our order was taken after the one from people arriving well after us, we had to ask for it: the waiter took it very lightly. We had to ask twice for the wine we ordered, the ice cream in the child menu was never served. At the table next to us, two people received their pizza with a bottle of spicy sauce by the nice waiter. The other waiter came 45 seconds later and took the bottle before the two people could use it. They had to go and get one from another bottle. The server never apologized...

So sad one server can just ruin an acceptable establishment on such a nice...

Honestly I can't recommend this restaurant. We went in with zero expectations but really we had been left super disappointed.

I ordered a burger, which arrived with chips and salad. The burger was ok, the chips didn't really hit the mark and the salad was pretty terrible. Destroyed by one strange dressing, really found it hard to pinpoint the flavours. The other meal ordered had been a tomato pasta dish with a veal steak. The veal had a burnt underside and the pasta was left mostly uneaten.

The service was the final nail in the coffin, very far from great and pretty rude to the couple beside our table. They requested politely if they speak English and the response was pretty much go somewhere else.

I would suggest to everyone to do exactly that. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! A little tip, walk a few...

J'y étais allée cet été, et je n'avais jamais pris le temps de donner cet avis. Je suis bien contente qu'il soit fermé pour manquement à l'hygiène. Lors de notre repas, j'avais commandé le saumon, et mon accompagnant l'escalope milanaise. Rien à dire de spécial sur son plat qui était correct. Cependant, pour le mien, rien que le visuel laissait à désirer : saumon minuscule, trop cuit sans goût et certainement congelé, avec des frites et de la salade. En mangeant la salade d'accompagnement, j'ai trouvé une étiquette (oui, une étiquette avec un code-barre quoi)... Ça laissait présager l'importance que le restaurant accorde à l'hygiène... J'en ai informé le serveur, qui s'est excusé (encore heureux). Je n'ai pas fini mon plat et nous n'avons pas eu de geste commercial ou d'excuses de la part de la personne à la caisse. Entre l'hygiène exécrable, la cuisine douteuse et le manque de professionnalisme du personnel (celui que l'on a eu en tout cas) autant dire que je n'y suis jamais retournée. En somme, restaurant à fuir...
