Why go to others when you know this is the best? Here's what you see in the pictures. The Moyashi Salad was very fresh and prepped well which I personally find it difficult. Followed with Maguro tataki that gave more depth in flavor and texture added from flake. Tako is fried to perfection and cuts through soft. Now for the finale, Karagge is lightly fried keeping with while keeping the outer layer crisp with not much excess flour. Be careful not to eat too quickly because you are hungry. It is hot 🔥if you want to pick one from the four, I suggest the...

I used to come here at dinner time and have always enjoyed the restaurant, this time around I came for lunch.

The meal was bland and far away from anything resembling Japanese cuisine.

The rice was served in a flat dish instead of an individual bowl, in direct contact with the main and side dishes in a meal that's not designed to be presented this way. As a consequence it got all wet and impossible to eat with the chopsticks.

The marinated egg was very light in flavour, from the colour I can tell that it didn't spend enough time in...

The BEST Japanese (or asian for that matter) restaurant I've ever been to. Really nice bento style plates (or takeaway) during lunch, and smaller tapas-style plates at dinner service. Very interesting dishes of the day and everything was very tasty. The bento was well rounded and everything complimented eachother. They serve some Japanese drinks, beers, sake, tea etc. And this all while not being very expensive! The only con is that they use a digital card (scan a QR-code with your phone), but do not have a wifi network available. Still 5 stars.

Amazing place to enjoy authentic and tasty Japanese food. The warm welcome makes it beyond incredible from starters to desserts. I'm pretty familiar with Japanese dishes but this restaurant is a high level one if you seek authenticity and does not want any sushis in your plate. Whether you are a big fan of Asian food or just curious about it, Yuzuza is to me, one of the best options in Lyon. If not the best.
