We have long awaited dining here, booking 3 months out. Upon arrival, we noticed a sign on the door stating the restaurant (in layman's terms) was reserved for a private lunch party. Undaunted, we stepped inside and were very warmly greeted and told there was a private party. However, they did have a table ready for us and warned the party might get loud. Well, it was an experience we'll never forget. Dining on their incredible Lyonnaise cuisine, we were never ignored or pushed aside for their big party. The private party made our experience even better. When dessert arrived, our praline tart had a sparkler candle ablaze and even though the server knew we were celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary, we never expected this! To our utter astonishment, the private party sang to us in French....making such a wonderfully unexpected core memory. We can't wait to return. Thank you for the most memorable lunch we've...
Read moreI got kicked out! Bwahahaha! They didn’t have the Quinelle sauce that I’ve been craving for (been planning this meal for over a year!). So I opted out for the Lyonaisse Salad. I was going to drink half the bar and have my salad. Amerikuh!
The green crab bisque did not look delicious to me. That’s my opinion.
So, I was looking for you know, other options, because I’m hungry. My phone, American service was just taking a while. Until I was told that I needed to order MORE FOOD because it’s not FAIR for the KITCHEN. That didn’t sit well with me. I finished my bitter Mojito and walked away.
Maybe America spoils its citizen, residents, and tourists. If we want to order just dessert and half the bar, WE LOVE YOU for putting money in all of the staffs pockets. Shame on you guys for trying to fattening me up. So, I opted for Turkish Food. Disappointed. Sad face. Angry face. Do better French...

We started with the salad Lyonnaise - ok who knew bacon(lardons) and poached eggs could go on salad and make it sooo yummy. Can you say mind blown? I want bacon and eggs for salad dressing more often. Next we had the quenelle (pike fish soufflé in a crab broth sauce.)Yum yum yum. We also had lamb picadillo wrapped in pastry with a magical sauce that made my brain hurt it was so good. This Baba au rhum was extraordinary. The cake was just the right firmness while still being light with just a hint of rhum and the apricot sauce could go on anything and make it taste good. Very yummy. Now I want to go back for more. Ok. I know I will be dreaming about this place and would love to come back on our next...
