We chose the daily menu (32 EUR) and the la carte menu (47 EUR). For the entree, we had the young shoot salad and the tuna carpaccio. Both came with the same dressing and we preferred the young shoots version. We were the first customers for lunch and this might be why some of the pieces of sausage in my salad had mold on the sliced sides. The chicken leg main was decent while the fish was not great. The rhubarb dessert required a lot of work cutting the fibrous long pieces into bite-sized portions. The sable dessert came with an interesting yoghurt-flavoured cream. We made the mistake of ordering water and received a bottle which cost us an additional 6 EUR. We saw other tables receive a carafe of tap water and made note that we should order it that way. We chose this restaurant because it was a Michelin BIB but felt that neither menu was worth it. I did get food poisoning upon returning home an hour later but am uncertain if it was a boulangerie (for breakfast) or...

Everything about Restaurant M was outstanding. The service was friendly and inviting, and we appreciated the assistance in English. The food was fantastic—- in preparation, presentation and portion size. We thought the price, for a comparable dinner in the US, was excellent. The only downside, which was of little control of the service staff, was that another couple came in was seated next to us, and the woman was wearing WAY too much perfume. It definitely affected the remainder of our meal. Although it’s probably very difficult for a maitre’d to sniff guests, in an extreme case as this the offending individual should be asked to sit outside. It’s as offensive to other guests dining as is cigarette smoking. As one can probably tell, we are food tourists, and we searched extensively for our dining venues in Lyon. We recommend Restaurant M with our highest endorsement. A big “THANK YOU!” to the...

The restaurant was modern with a high ceiling and there appears to be a second seating area in an upper level but we were seated in the main floor. The tables are spaced relatively close to each other for those who are wary of these things in the COVID world but we had no issues and given the great food we found it to be well worth it. Each of our dishes were presented in a simple yet elegant manner. We were there for lunch and we found the price very reasonable and the portion generous. The texture and flavors were all fantastic. My steak, which my picture doesn't do justice, was great in that the sauce's richness and sweetness balanced the meat wonderfully with a taste of the fall season. There were three staff members servicing our area so we were always able to get someone's attention whenever we needed anything. Overall, it was a great meal for a great price and I can't...

Tried to do a walking on a Monday night, was told make a reservation which I did for a Wed and was super glad I came. The night started with some confusion on my part as I thought they had a tasting menu, but they had a 3 part set which I had the octopus, veal and their chocolate/caramel dessert. Food and service were excellent. Wine pairing was also done well and I experienced some new technology with one of the glasses which I knew was special when everyone around me was listening and watching the waiter intently as he explained (allows for fine wines to be served by the glass, and decanted/temperature perfectly). I thought that was super cool and appreciated not having to compromise by the glass. Super glad I came here and highly recommend to anyone else. Great quality, and great value for what you pay for. Will certainly return next time I'm in the city
