Good seating with high back chairs, nicely ‘authentically’ decorated. The curried sauces (I sampled 3) tasted softer less harsh that those I am used to in the UK. They are similar in fact to the sauces served in Malaysia. Side dishes can prove expensive, but main courses are reasonably priced. The Tandoori Chicken was plentiful and was cooked nicely. Read moreThe restaurant promises authenticity with its decor and atmosphere, but that’s where the experience peaks. The food? Bland, uninspired, and utterly forgettable. Portions are small (for such a price), ingredients simple, and the prix—completely unjustified.
If you’re craving Indian cuisine at this level, save yourself the trip and grab a bag of tikka masala-flavored chips. The taste will be just as satisfying, if not better.
