Court Bouillon — Restaurant in Lyon

One of the best meals I've had in France. Lunch menu was good value for money, the portions and not too big but enough for my large appetite. The food was very well executed and precise french cuisine, we enjoyed every bite as we felt the love and effort being put into every single dish. The main was super classic with smooth and not too heavy potato puree, the juiciest chicken I've ever had, sauce was perfect and the mushrooms added another flavor to the dish. Our waiter was a young guy-super nice, friendly and respectful who spoke English and made sure we enjoyed our food. I would recommend this place to anyone...

Margo and Clement are both excellent at what they do. Margo is patissier and front of house, and Clement the master in the kitchen.

The presentation of the restaurant itself is fabulous; cozy and without fuss.

The menu options are few, but it helps! They all look so great, so having only a couple to choose from, makes it much easier! The food tastes really good!

Most small requests to change from the menu are usually fine (including vegetarian and vegan), but be sure to make them aware of any allergy requirements.

Our daughter truly the steak (what mashed potatoes!) the ‘fish and chips’ was so well done, it’s now in my top 3 - ever! Beautifully presented and the fisherman’s black garlic gravy worked brilliantly.
