OAÏ Bar restaurant — Restaurant in Lyon

We've been in Lyon for 5 days, in France for two weeks, in Spain for a week, and have lived in Hungary and traveled around Poland, Austria, Germany, etc. Not to mention we've tried a heck of alot of top restaurants in D.C., Seattle, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Dallas, LA, you name it. ...THIS. PLACE. IS. 6. STARS. Beef in whiskey was FABULOUS and has only been beat out by one other beef dish I've ever had (and I grew up in the cattle industry). Falafel: fabulous. Quesadillas: fabulous. Dessert: fabulous. Selections are limited which is good because it preserves quality. We came thinking we'd only have a small dinner and ended up ordering more items and more items because they kept getting better. Best place in Lyon, we've been consistently disappointed by higher rated places. Staff was awesome. We are so sad to not be able to come back as we leave Lyon tomorrow! Atmosphere: Cozy! Don’t be fooled by the couple of tables on the main floor, there is more seating downstairs.

Service: Fab! The chef comes and takes your order, and he speaks English really well, so tourists don’t worry about it.

Food: Absolutely incredible. We loved everything we ordered. The gnocchi was a hit and try all the desserts and the cocktails! We also had the chance to try some Chartreuse, a great way to end the meal.

¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡NO RECOMIENDO NO RECOMIENDO NO RECOMIENDO!!!!!!!!!!!! Vengo a responder a su respuesta….. Para empezar…. Si esperan una mala reseña igual es porque saben que han hecho algo mal, no? Si no, porque esperarían una mala reseña de unos clientes? Luego, en ningún momento se especifica cuál es la edad máxima para poder pedir el menú infantil. Lo que da a entender que la segunda vez que se pide este simplemente es una excusa, ya que no está apuntado en ningún sitio ni se comentó previamente. Lo segundo, dos horas no nos quedamos, solo estábamos terminando de beber nuestro refresco. No sé cuánto tarda usted en tomarse una cocacola pero nosotros no tardamos 2h, se lo aseguro. :) Lo tercero, todas las mesas eran iguales, unas con dos sillas y otras con cuatro sillas, pero todas las mesas eran del mismo tamaño, no había ninguna diferencia. Si tanta prisa había en tener una mesa de 4, nos podrían haber cogido las dos sillas que NO estaban ocupadas. Lo cuarto, en NINGÚN momento, repito, en ningún momento se dijo que se pagaba dentro, es más las mesas de al lado podían pagar fuera y nosotros no ¿cómo es eso posible? ¡¡Que alguien me lo explique, porfavor!! Simplemente pésimo el servicio, el personal y las formas de estos. Una pena que vayas de viaje a una ciudad tan bonita como es Lyon y te encuentres un personal y una gente tan desagradable a la hora de comer con tu familia.
