Wonderful bakery in Croix Russe area. If you are lucky enough to be nearby and don’t have to walk up the hill to get here (or heck even if you DO have to walk up the hill) it is well worth a visit. One of best croissants I’ve ever had - so light and layered and crispy. Pain au chocolat also very good. A thin apple tart was crispy on the bottom and layered with super thin slivers of apples- wonderful. The almond croissant was good but a bit sweet. As this is our first morning in Lyon we will certainly be back for the rest of the week to try more and more especially since it is fortunately just around the corner. Very helpful and friendly man spoke good English and humored my French in a nice way.

Super accueil ! La dame était vraiment gentille et sympathique ! Il y avait plein de belles choses !! Nous avons pris deux pains aux chocolats, un croissant aux amandes et un roulé aux raisins. L'après midi même, nous avons mangé un pain au chocolat, mais grosse déception pour moi : je n'avais qu'une seule barre de chocolat (mon compagnon en avait deux!), et nous avons trouvé le pain au chocolat un peu sec, alors qu'il était du jour ! Le lendemain j'ai mangé le croissant aux amandes, qui lui était excellent !! Mais mon compagnon a trouvé le roulé aux raisins aussi sec que la viennoiserie de la veille... C'est dommage car tout est fait avec de très bon produit ! Je pense tout de même y retourner, pour leur laisser une deuxième chance, mais la prochaine fois, j'essayerais d'y aller le matin (ce sera peut-être plus frais!!)

Partisan Boulanger is far away the best patisserie in town. Though it is not quite near to the city centre Vieux-Lyon, products and place are very quality and the owners are very friendly. I highly recommend that you visit Partisan and enjoy the smell, texture and the taste👌🏻

Found this amazing bakery on our next to last day in the Croix-Rousse. It is a hidden treasure! You can get a warm baguette throughout the morning, and they make the best pain au raisin. Plus great croissants, and other viennoiserie and breads!

When our turn came, we entered and saw such beautiful pastries, that I could not resist - ended up with a mille-feuille and a Paris-Brest. Oh My Yum - perfection! Thank you to all the bakery staff front and back of house for creating so many variety of delicious...

By far the only top Boulanger & Patisserie in Lyon. I'm not sure which I prefer between Partisan and Du Pain & Des Ideas in Paris. The other Boulangeries in Lyon are tired and disappointing. We at at Prairial restaurant, amazing in Lyon, who sourced their bread from Partisan. Fantastic breads and jaw-dropping pastries. only open Friday-Sunday/Monday, would suggest coming here each of those mornings and a coffee from Momento around there corner....
