Star Ferry — Restaurant in Lyon

📍 We had a meal at a restaurant located on Quai Victor Augagneur. The restaurant is situated next to Rhône River.

🛳️ The food preparation takes place on a boat floating along the river. The location itself is stunning, with the terrace offering views of the InterContinental hotel. It's the perfect spot to enjoy beers with friends as the sunsets.

🍔 The burgers they serve are very delicious. In my case, I tried the American burger, and I was genuinely fascinated by the flavor of the meat.

⏰ The only issue you might encounter is space availability. We went without a reservation and had to adjust. If you have enough time, you're sure to find a spot at one of their tables. I'm not sure if reservations are available, but if they are, I recommend making one.

🌇 The atmosphere on this riverbank is incredibly pleasant, especially at sunset. That's why this place is fantastic for hanging out...

Avoid if you can. Massive drop in quality this year. Understaffed, frozen foods replaced quality products. I had the chicken burger, it was something vile. Priced as a gourmet burger but worse than the worst fast food joint. My guess: Berzingue opened right next to them and Star Ferry is trying to squeeze out the last profits before they're run out of business by the end of the year. Sorry about the staff, they try and put in an honest effort. Otherwise, Star ferry is the worst in its class of péniches...

En me rendant sur les avis de l'établissement avec des amis avec qui nous comptons venir manger. J'ai eu la surprise de tomber sur un commentaire affligeant de méchanceté et de mauvaise foie donc je voulais apporter mon témoignage puisque j'étais présente ce jour-ci au moment des faits. J'étais dans l'attente de recevoir des renseignements, a propos de l'établissement, des plats et des boissons proposées ainsi qu'une éventuelle réservation. Les jeunes clientes employaient un ton narquois et rempli de dédain à l'encontre du jeune serveur qui faisait tout son possible afin de leur expliquer que les prix affichés sur la carte n'étaient pas conformes et qu'il ne fallait pas en tenir compte, celles-ci n'en ont absolument pas tenu rigueur et ont commencé à prendre en grippe le serveur qui faisait de son mieux pour régler le problème et apporter une solution dans un calme impérial dans un premier temps. Ce trouvant face a un mur ce dernier excédé leur donna la différence soit un montant de 2e qui pour ma part est vraiment ridicule et minime. Suite à ça j'ai pu interpeller le serveur afin d'avoir des réponses à mes questions. Très sympathique et souriant tout s'est très bien passé, je ne comprend pas un tel acharnement pour si peu, il y a des façons de parler et de traiter les gens mais ça c'est encore une histoire d'éducation. En espérant venir très prochainement...
