WOKO — Restaurant in Lyon

It took me a long time to decide what to eat but I ended up having a delicious lunch here on my last day in Lyon before the beginning of my long journey to Milan via Switzerland. I quite liked the self-service option once I realised that this was the way to place an order. I found the self-service portal simple to navigate and your buzzer will activate once your order has been placed. When your meal is ready your buzzer will beep and vibrate and you'll need to collect it from the service counter. I ordered the deep fried spring rolls, sesame beef with rice and a sparkling water with lime type of beverage. I really wanted freshly squeezed orange juice (or even 100% bottled orange juice) but this wasn't available on the drinks menu. Didn't really like my drink as I'm not a fan of flavoured sparkling water. I should've just chosen standard water but I can't recall if it was on the menu. I did like my main but the portion of beef could have been better. It was a tad too oily but the flavour was good. Springs rolls and dipping sauce were tasty. Speedy service and there is indoor and outdoor seating (as in outside the restaurant not the mall). Good location but not very cool on a hot summer's day. I would order from here again the next time...

Very fast and good service. The quality of the food however was quite bad. The pho was very salty, the broth resembled little how pho is supposed to taste like. The toppings didnt make much sense either, a lot of bean sprouts and raw slices of white onion, with just a tiny sprinkle of spring onion? The noodles were very chewy. And top of that, pho is supposed to be hot and what was served was just luke warm. We also had bun salad which was okay. A bit conservative with the nuoc cham, but not too bad. As drink we had bubble tea which was unfortunately a huge disappointment. Basically tastes like milk from...

Je suis très déçu de ce restaurant. Les salariés discutent entre eux ou sont constamment sur leur téléphone, ne s'occupant pas spécialement de leurs clients. Il y avait bien 5 ou 6 employés pour 2 commandes, et nous avons attendu 35 minutes. C'est ridicule, surtout pour un plat à emporter. De plus, nous avons demandé un plat avec des aliments en moins et, pendant qu'ils discutaient entre eux dans la cuisine, ils n'ont pas fait attention !!! Heureusement, ils m'ont refait le plat, encore heureux.

De plus, ce principe de récupérer sa commande en deux fois est déconcertant. On nous donne les entrées et les boissons dans un sac à l'entrée du restaurant, puis il faut aller à un autre comptoir pour récupérer le plat. Quand je prends à emporter, déjà que c'est long, je préférerais tout récupérer d'un coup, et ne pas avoir à surveiller les plats quand ils sont préparés, car je voyais qu'ils discutaient tellement entre eux que le plat que j'avais demandé sans certains aliments ne serait pas respecté !!!

De plus, les plats ne sont pas beaucoup garnis en viande, et j'ai dû rajouter un supplément de 3,60€ pour avoir un plat correct.

Je ne mets pas toute l'équipe dans le même sac, car, par contre, la personne qui s'occupait de débarrasser et de nettoyer les tables travaillait seule, et elle faisait très bien son travail. C'est peut-être le seul...
