The staff and the manager were very rude to us. My friend ordered a kids meal without being warned before. It included a desert which she ordered from the waitress. She started yelling at my friend saying she shouldn’t have taken this. She was very rude but not with her words but her behavior. We then went to the manager to complain but he wasn’t responsive. She came in and heard us complaining and started shouting again in front him while defending herself. He took her side which is not shocking after reading their response to all the comments on the page saying that it’s not their problem. They really lack empathy and are sarcastic. At some point he told us “you will get over this, i hope you will be better treated somewhere else”. This expression alone shows how much they don’t care about the customer’s opinion and think they’re always right. If you read his replies for bad reviews you will understand how sarcastic he is instead of being understanding and observing to improve their service. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you wanna have lunch or dinner, i would recommend you go somewhere where “you’ll be...
Read moreThe staff at this restaurant are very unprofessional and disrespectful. We ordered the kids option (without even knowing it) from their menu which is a combination of a platter, a dessert and a drink. After finishing the plate, I asked for the dessert. The waitress there started shouting at me saying that this is a kids meal and I shouldn't be having it nor the dessert, and that her colleague didn't know. Ok like should I throw it up for you? She was very aggressive and mean, although we weren't informed that this option was only for kids. We complained about it at the end and they were very defensive, she started attacking us again to say that she didn't shout at us, and the manager was rude as well. This is not how you treat clients especially if they are tourists. This gave us a very bad image about this place and we won't recommend it to anyone.
P.S: I'm seeing how you respond to customers complaining here, and yes, it's you who needs to question your unprofessionalism without being so defensive, because when so many people are saying the same thing, it means that it's YOU who's not...
Read moreOrdered a pastis, all good so far, nice service. Asked if I could pay with my credit card, was told it was a 10 euros minimum. I asked if with a 6 euros beer, for a 9 euros total, they would accept my credit card, I was told no. I forgot to mention that I am alone with my 6 months old in his stroller. If you are familiar with the Panier and its stairs, going around with a stroller is a bit of challenge. So I ended up going to the atm, 20 minutes walk there and 20 minutes walk back, because 9 euros wasn’t enough for the Barman to accept my payment. Not a bad place, just no empathy, and this is not a place I would recommend.
Edit : explaining the rule after I ordered and was served is tricky ... Edit 2 : since they mostly serve at a terrace, and nobody goes inside, indicating it’s a 10 euros minimum inside is pointless. Edit 3: not bending the rule for one euro for someone with a stroller isn't a nice move, regardless...
