Visited on a Wednesday night as staying locally at the AC Marriott Velodrome. Did not book but were warmly welcomed and seated at 8pm. Menu is varied but we chose an armenian rose wine, which we enjoyed - delicate but flavourful and dry but not too dry. I had the mixed armenian plate and my wife had the chicken brochettes. The brochettes had a very delicate marinade, which was delightful. Chicken was moist but also had a char flavour and the salad, tzatziki, and pilau made delicious accompaniments. My plate had a tasty cheese pastry, stuffed vine leaves, pancake stuffed with beef and chicken kiev with hummus and similar sides. All was a delight, though the Kiev perhaps not quite what I had expected. The flatbread was some of the finest I've experienced around the world. Read moreI had heard about this restaurant by my girlfriend and had it in my "want to go" list for a long time and i must say that my only regret is that i didn't visit Marseille earlier to taste their amazing food.
Held by an Armenian family with obvious deep knowledge about the culture, their dishes stay to this day in my mind and is a must go if you want a flavorful dinner.
Been there twice already and was never disappointed, call in advance to secure a place...
