Awful customer service, very rude staff

update the unpleasant owners response to mine and any other customers 1-2 star reviews stating “rude staff” simply validates how rude he is. It’s clear you are attempting to intimidate people from giving your business ratings it deserves based on their own experiences. His overly lengthy, very one-sided narrative, with lack of factual information to my individual experience at this establishment is truly laughable. The only “lies” can be found in his response he was clearly up late writing. His poor interactions with other patrons are a reflection on him and his establishment and severe lack of ability to accept criticism. Maybe should do some training to better learn how to interact with customers. Also not sure why the many targeted comparisons to the US and Americans were brought up by him, completely unnecessary. Also, to claim anyone would assume customs from any other country are applicable everywhere else in the world, is so absurd. Always recommend reading both positive and negative reviews of a business. Please gossip with your friends about tourists if you have nothing better to do, I on the other hand will not spare another thought for this business or owner. Addon after eating: Even worse, the icecream (not fruit! but milk based) had ice crystals, what means the milk was thinned with water and even though this is not the worst, it was not processed correct, so the icecream base would become smooth. This has to be the best ice cream shop I've ever been to. Not just in Marseille, but the best one I've ever been to ever! I went here 3 times with my family over the past week for our summer holiday from London. The latter times we came we were served by Adrién, he was super attentive and friendly and let us try the flavours first before we settled with what we wanted. My mum is having palliative chemotherapy and can't have much so he made a small portion just for her. The best part was that all the ice creams were all organic which mattered alot to me because I don't usually indulge in this sort of food and try to limit sugar, however the flavours were so unique and fresh it was worth the treat, nothing tasted artificial. Some flavours are strong, delicate, sweet, fruity, tart. There's something for everyone.
