Hospitality! I wanted to spend a nice lunch with my husband in this restairant but unfortunately we couldn't get a chance to do that. The terrace was full, but we saw a few tables where the people were finished their food so we decided to wait hoping that we can get a table soon. There were also a group of people keeping 4 tables together, though they were only 6. We were standing there 20min and was hoping that the waiter can find a solution to squeeze us in. After 20 min the waiter told us that sorry the kitchen is closed so we won't get any food. The waiter saw us standing there during this time but he didn't advise us earlier that we shouldn't wait. The hospitality and flexibility wasn't top level, we feel there is a lot to learn on how to treat potential paying customers...Just a tip for next time, if this were my business I would've been more flexible, problem solving and thoughtful and for example politely ask the group of 6 people to release one of the 4 table they were sitting at in order to let other customers...
Read moreYou just need to read the owners responses to understand how unpolite and petulant they are. And this is how they will treat you. Same story as many other people have reported. You ask for a table and they say they have no tables available even with free tables. Then you come back and they say the kitchen is closed 1 hour before the official time in Google. And in case they reply it was because we didn’t have a reservation like they always try to justify on previous comments they never told us they only work with reservations. Maybe if they only accept clients with reservations, they should inform you from the start and not make excuses. The worst part was that they just laughed at us and made excuses to send us away because they didn’t want us to sit. Not sure if it was because we were tourists or because they didn’t want to work at that time of the day…. PS: And, no I won’t come back to your small yet arrogant restaurant on my next...
Read moreTo put things bluntly, this place is overhyped and overpriced. There is the restaurant and kitchen area, which no guests are seated in, and the patio area, which is 20 meters away and because seating is limited, can get full quickly. There is only one waiter to attend to everyone. He seems to be trying his best at times, but still is a bit slow and worse, snooty (prétentieux.) It was about 16 euros for a bowl of linguine with a few clams. The only highlight to me were the noodles, which were springy and clearly homemade. But the overall taste was average--little white wine, little garlic, and not many clams. I guess what you're paying for is the central view of the...
