Le Trois Quarts — Restaurant in Marseille

Came for dinner last week. Ordered the duck with vegetables. Specifically told the waitress I have an allergy to nuts. The plate came out covered in nuts. When I told them, they said it was not true and they were coriander seeds which I knew was not true. So I asked them to remake it which they agreed to. The new plate came out without nuts. Was okay but a bit plain.

The waitress brought us a cheese plate for free to say sorry for the mess around which she assured me had no nuts. I ate it and underneath the salad was a piece of walnut which I mistakenly ate. I had to leave immediately and walk to the emergency room at the hospital where I went into anaphylaxis and had to stay for 5 hours.

It would be great to pay better attention for people with allergies, especially when the dishes do not say they contain nuts on the menu. It can be...

We arrived around 21h needed to wait for a table, the atmosphere and food seemed nice, we came here because of a recommendation from a food guide. Finally we saw a table clearing out, there was no one to show us the seat for quite some time so we decided to take the initiative. We gave the service the sign that we are seated and we'd like to order. We waited the service to clear the table for 30 minutes when finding out that the neighboring table hadn't order for already an hour. We decided to leave since obviously the service was very slow and unorganized, sadly the dishes seemed promising. I will rate them with 2 stars since we didn't even had the chance to eat and lost a lot of time waiting, anyways the service seemed friendly but...

Good value for money, and pretty tasty food. The octopus was excellent, and we enjoyed our other dishes too. However, we were very disappointed in the service. The manager was friendly, but our waitress was quite rude and cold. And the bartender was also rushed in making our drinks and not particularly nice. So good spot for food, but the service is in dire need of an attitude adjustment. I’d also add that this felt like a very local spot, and given the attitude of the staff during the time I spent here, I may not recommend non-french speaking tourists...
