Discovering a magic place just wandering around on an autumn morning in the fascinating Marseille just made my day. The welcoming of the owners, the high quality homemade icecreams and cookies, the lovely decoration make you be immediately under the charm. You are suddenly enjoying the dolce vita accross the Italian border, and if you are lucky to stop by, I bet you won't resist in trying out and buying pastries while enjoying a coffee. The name Jouglas is the name of the former homeowner of these young talented people. To continue honouring them, they display Ă "santon" , a traditional figurine that the Marseille dwellers still cherish when preparing Christmas.    Read moreI LOVE SWEETS! We left dinner in time to walk to Maison Jouglas to be sure to have our evening sâcream. As we walked up they were closing 15 minutes early. I was so sad and disappointed. But guess what? They opened back up just for us! Can you believe it? SURPRISE!
We had two cones of gelato, two cannolis, and a handful of meringues. All of it was SUPER delish.
