Vapiano — Restaurant in Marseille

my partner and i ate dinner today at vapiano after a very long day of travelling on little sleep. we were groggy, just wanted some comfortable food to help with our travel hangover, and vapiano was perfect.

my boyfriend had the prawn salmon gnocchi and i had tomato chicken arrabbiata (i think), with a coke zero and orangina which came to about £34/€40. the pasta was so fresh, the sauce was flavourful and clearly made from scratch. despite us being from england and not knowing any french, the servers were very helpful and attentive. plus the ciabatta was free!!!

the only reason i haven’t given 5 stars is because we sat outside (where everyone else was as it was 30°) and there were so many pigeons constantly flying around your head. the server was shoo’ing them often, and allowed us to move tables to get underneath the tarp cover, but it did put a slight dampener on the situation.

anyway, i recommend this place if you want authentic and tasty pasta! as a student i found it well priced. thank...

The front of house staff was very friendly and helpful as our French was not good enough to place an order and helped us.

I only wanted a cesser salad and he helped order it. There was a bit of miscommunication when I went to pick up my salad as I wanted it to go but the girl who was making it was super friendly and nice and offered to remake a new one in a container but I said I didn’t want to waste it and it was okay the way it was. She even offered some bread on the side.

Livraison sur Uber Eats, 1 acheté = 1 offert et c’était quand même trop cher.

Des pâtes au Pesto basilic probablement cuites des heures avant, sèches et collées entre elles. 15€10, très mauvais, et les quantités étaient ridiculement faible. Digne d’un plat de pâtes d’étudiant oublié sur la table et réchauffé le lendemain au micro-onde. Le pire, c’est que je n’exagère même pas… je suis étudiant je connais bien.

Une pana cotta au goût industriel et en quantité ridicule c’est une vraie arnaque, au prix exorbitant de 5€. Par ailleurs, la jolie photo sur Uber Eats montre une belle pana cotta maison avec du COULIS DE FRUIT ROUGE, inutile de préciser que vous ne retrouverez pas ce coulis dans votre dessert vu la qualité des plats ce n’est même plus surprenant. D’accord les fruits rouges ne sont pas écrits dans la liste des ingrédients, mais ils ne le cachent certainement pas sur la photo, bien au contraire.

Une Verrine Cookie Monster encore pire que la pana cotta, mais tout simplement très mauvaise je n’ai pas réussi à la finir tellement la mousse vanillée était immonde, elle avait un goût salé qui n’a rien à faire dans un dessert. Je l’ai donné à la personne qui m’accompagnait pour ce repas : impossible non plus de finir ce dessert. Donc nous étions 2 à ESSAYER de finir un dessert d’une contenance pathétique, mais aucun de nous n’a réussi à avaler plus d’une bouchée de ce « dessert »

Bref une vraie arnaque à éviter donc, je ne sais pas ce que vaut le service sur place mais je peux affirmer que je n’irai jamais. En tout cas la qualité des plats en livraison relève tout simplement de l’arnaque pure, je ne comprend pas que l’on puisse proposer de la nourriture d’aussi mauvaise qualité a ce prix sans en avoir honte pour le restant...
