Watami Sushi — Restaurant in Metz

I recently dined at this restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The sushi and other dishes were so delicious, and the service was excellent.

The only thing worth mentioning are the Golden and the Black Fish at the entrance. They are stunning, but the tank is really small for their size. It made me sad to see such a huge and beautiful fishes in such a tiny amount of water where their movement is really restricted. I'd love to come back and see a more spacious home...

We had an excellent time at Watami and I wish I could give more than 5 stars ! Everything came exactly the way I wanted and all the small details I pay attention too were there. Very fresh and large portions of sashimis, good rice ratio in Californias, great recipes and combinations for the special rolls, all of this with a great presentation. As a tourist, this was my first and likely only time in Metz, but Watami Sushi was great across the board. The food is excellent, and you get good value for what you spend (which isn't outrageous).
