Cake Thé — Restaurant in Millau

⭐☆☆☆☆ I had a very disappointing experience at this café. When we arrived, the place was almost empty — there were at least five tables available. However, the woman working there told us the café was “full” and refused to let us sit.

We politely asked if we could wait for a table, but she said no, insisting that people “won’t be leaving.” Only seconds later, a couple stood up and left, leaving even more free tables. We asked again if we could stay, but she repeated that they were “full.”

We tried to understand if we needed a reservation or if there was some reason we couldn’t stay, but she wouldn’t explain and just kept saying “we’re full.” It felt very dismissive and unwelcoming.

From the way we were treated, it seemed like she simply didn’t want to serve us — perhaps based on our appearance. After reading other reviews, I’m not the only one who’s experienced this. It’s a shame, because we were looking forward to trying their cakes and pastries, but we won’t be...

Un endroit atypique et merveilleux ! ☺️ Lieux magnifiquement décoré, des broderies incroyable et des objets anciens et originaux des plats de la région, bio et souvent végétarien Une gérante discrète et très gentille

AMOUREUSE DE CE LIEU ! 🍀 Pour un entrée (des mises en bouches decilieuses avec des goûts variés), une soupe de châtaigne et de lentille corail puis un bon plat contenant de la salade avec sa vinaigrette maison, quiche végétarienne et sans gluten, une délicieux gâteau médiéval à la canelle qui se marie étrangement bien avec le morceau de brebis dessus puis un délicieux petit sable au gingembre et au citron. ❤️ + un café et des petits chocolats ouvert à déguster à la fin, seulement 33 euros pour tout ça et pour 2 !! Ne ratez pas cette merveille, surtout que la gérante est plus toute jeune malheureusement donc profitez que ce petit magasin de thé et table d hôte...
