We were influenced by the good review of the Guide Michelin and, so, we booked a table at this restaurant for last night diner. It was one of the worst experiences in our life. Service was bad : we were given the food before the wine was brought although we had mentioned that we'd like to have the wine immediately. Then we had ordered "oeufs meurette" great speciality of Burgundy. Thanks God it was not the first time we had oeuf meurette as, this one was so bad that I would never have had oeuf meurette again in my life. It was tepid in a liquid sauce which contained 95% of old "piquette" (cheap red wine) and, for that, we were charged 13€ per head! We could not get hold of any waitress to get a spoon since the sauce was liquid because they were busy having a cigarette with the cook. Anyway, not only this was bad but so was the rest but the bill was extremely high : 100 € for 2! with only 1/2 a bottle of middle range Burgundy. I would not recommend anyone to go there...

We came in early but that did not make them uneasy! The staff was young but determined to make us feel welcome en met all our needs. All courses, entree, main dish and desert were of amazing quality. We got great advise for matching wine. There are lost of restaurants where cooks do a good job, apart form that no magic and the mix of ingredients is average. NOT here! All was so well balanced yet also a great exiting contrasts in structures, matching pallets and daring combinations ( i mean... ginger, foie gras and pineapple on brioche...)

One of our best meals in France. Little touches like the unusual mise en bouche and biscuit with coffee just add to the pleasure. Beautiful presentation.
