DO NOT STEP IN THIS RESTAURANT: Extremely rude service, I got sick, and they made me pay food I didn’t eat. This is how they took advantage of the situation: I ordered an appetizer, a main meal and a dessert. Right after the appetizer I became sick (the gambas probably). The main meal was a mashup of scallops in a dish that was too spicy to even taste the scallops, after I told them the problem, they offered to change, but I became very ill (shivers, stabbing pain in stomach) so I had to run. Well, they made my friend pay for my meal AND the dessert even if I didn’t eat them, and they told me when I left that they will only charge for the appetizer! Le Grillardin is located on a charming little plaza filled with other restaurants, but it stands out on its own. We tried their tapas, which were really tasty and reasonably priced. Three tapas were enough for two people. We especially like grilled abergin, if I remember correctly the French name for egplant. We came at 6:30pm, when most restaurants ate not opened yet, and we were served. Their Langedoc Grenacha was fruty and with an elegant taste. We were served by Adrian, who I think might be the owner. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely loved this place! Montpellier truly surprised us — such a charming and vibrant city — and Le Grillardine made our experience even better. The restaurant has a beautiful, bohemian atmosphere right in the heart of the old town. We wanted something light, and the menu offered plenty of options with excellent quality for the price.
