I give one star for the nice ambiance in the patio and for the mostly nicely arranged plates. Apart from that, this restaurant was rather very disappointing, even more a shame, because it isn't necessarily cheap. Our waitress got annoyed quickly, because we had to give back one meal, since it contained pork, which was not indicated on the menu. Apart from her negative reaction it also felt, that we got less attention overall afterwards, compared to the other tables. The sommelier seemed nice, but he brought the wine after we had the first course already almost finished. And for each course we waited quite a while (the whole stay was about 4h, which could also be due to the lack of attention of the waiters) He seemed a bit stressed too, not being comfortable taking care of a table with 10 people, trying to make the wine selection process as short as possible. Furthermore, we had vegan people in the group, but there isn't anything vegan in the menu - not a big deal if you have a motivated and creative Chef, but this one just decided to leave all the animal products off of the plate, without putting any replacement. The entrée therewith for instance ended up being a plate of sliced tomatoes with oil (it was supposed to have bufala and ham as well). Similarly, this happened to the main dish as well as the dessert, but the price for the menu stays the same in the end. And we ask for some classic cocktails, but they actually changed ingredients without asking. For me this place is absolutely not recommendable, even less for this price. Since we were a mixed group of English and French speaking people, I guess they thought, we're just tourists and won't come back anyways (like this I have unfortunately seen restaurants acting many times in...

Unbelievably Rude Service and Shocking Carelessness - Never Again!

I am writing this review with extreme disappointment and frustration. My recent experience at this restaurant was by far the worst I have ever encountered, thanks entirely to the appallingly poor service attitude.

First, while opening our bottle of wine, the staff accidentally let the foil wrapper fall into the wine itself. Instead of apologizing or offering a replacement, the server simply poured the wine—foil and all—into our glasses and handed them back as if nothing had happened. There was not even a hint of remorse.

Then, while serving our main course, the same server placed their fingers directly into the sauce on the plate. It was unhygienic and completely unprofessional.

To make matters worse, when our dessert arrived, we had to ask three times for cutlery over a prolonged period. Each time we were ignored or given empty promises.

When we finally asked to speak to the manager, the response was even more disappointing. Rather than acknowledging the issues or apologizing, the manager defended the staff’s behavior and shifted blame. All we wanted was a simple “sorry,” but instead, we were met with stubbornness and arrogance.

I have never encountered such a combination of incompetence and outright disrespect in a dining setting. The lack of basic courtesy and accountability is astounding. I will never return, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place if they expect even a minimal...

Well, this is a hard review to write. As a restaurant who terms itself with a „great experience“ and was even mentioned as „fine dining“ (for sure not close to a star rating) we left somewhat disappointed. There is no smile from the service personell, rather cold mood from them. If you are asked about still or sparkling water, make sure to explicitly ask for a carafe of water or you‘ll pay for still Evian. The menu sounds great and is well priced, but I‘ll come to that. What really did disappoint was the table setting. Dirty napkins we had to have changed, cracked wine glass and overall dire servers. Please work on this. The menu selection is good, we went for carpaccio and the goat cheese based entree; both okay but lacking flavor. The goat cheese one is pure goat, nothing to counter or enhance it’s own flavor. We also never had iberian plum served that had two different cooking points of the 3 pieces served. Here as well: combined with sweet potatoes it lacked something special, something with more spice or a fruity / citrus aspect to level the otherwise earthy taste. Cheese platter was good, but it’s France so one can expect a good selection. The service, napkin and cracked glass combined with sub-par food really did disappoint. Maybe everyone had a bad day, but this should not happen in an otherwise great...

We came here on a day trip to visit family. On entry this place has a wow factor. The exterior seating area is beautiful. You are walled in by live green foliage and large white umbrellas shade you from direct sun but creates a light bright dining experience. Everyone seemed to be there for a special occasion. Twice we saw lit firework candles conveyed to 2 different tables. We chose from the combo set on a Saturday. The crème cauliflower amuse-bouche was tasty. Individual bread rolls were distributed. The first batch were browned nicely and crusty. The second round were anemic in color and soft. The beef carpaccio was disappointing. It was thick, fully cooked and had gristle pieces in it. The sardine tartare was better. The pork pluma was inconsistent in portion size across our table. I found the flavoring odd like an overdose of pumpkin pie spice and star anise and the sweet potato puree. The desserts were pretty. The apricot overpowered the muscat for the baba. The cute white chocolate lemon was cracked to reveal whipped cream filling with grated lemon and accompanying lemon sorbet. On the surface it largely looked the part of a 4-5 star food place but I personally had to give it a 3 for taste/texture/seasoning balance (acid, fat, salt, etc)
