Nestled in the vibrant city of Montpellier, Broc Café offers an enchanting dining experience that has garnered much attention. Despite the bustling crowds, this establishment manages to maintain an inviting and relaxed atmosphere, particularly with its charming terrace. It's no wonder why it consistently receives high praise from its patrons.

The menu at Broc Café is a delightful blend of contemporary favorites, with their burgers standing out as a must-try. Each bite reveals the care and creativity that goes into crafting these mouthwatering dishes. The café's comprehensive menu also promises something for everyone, making it a versatile choice for any meal of the day.

Despite its popularity and the consequent busyness, the staff at Broc Café handle the rush with grace and efficiency. The warm ambiance, coupled with the delectable offerings, ensures that each visit is a memorable one. For those seeking a reliable spot with great food and a pleasant atmosphere, Broc Café is undoubtedly a top choice in Montpellier. Five stars,...

TOURIST TAX ALERT! I debated whether or not to post about this but decided that fellow travellers need to be aware. I ordered a Formule Petit Déj for breakfast off the FRENCH menu which is €7. The meal was fine. But when I asked to pay the bill, the server verbally told me it’s €8 (first red flag as no paper bill was provided). I thought I remembered it wrong, and wasn’t ready to make a scene in a foreign country for €1. But afterwards, I checked again and, sure enough, it was €7. I’ve heard of this kind of nickel and dime trick against tourists but didn’t think it’d be so brazen. They probably counted on me not returning and not bothering with arguing the bill. It is an insignificant amount but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Well, now for a mere €1, they earned a one-star review. It’s quite silly to be honest. This also happened to me at another restaurant in Montpellier for €1. Perhaps establishments here are financially pinched and more desperate but I do not appreciate being discriminated against as a tourist who does not...

Broc Café is great! I like the food, the beer and the atmosphere. It is always packed with people (and so it is loud) but somehow they still find a couple more places for you. Even with so many people, drinks and food arrive quickly. I think they really figured out how to run a bar with this big a capacity. The waiters, bartenders, cooks work really hard, yet everyone is friendly and attentive. Respect!

For context: I spent about two weeks in Montpellier on a business trip. After I discovered this place, I made it part of my daily routine to come here and at least have a beer in the evening. I sampled much of their menu outside of appetizers and desserts. Found everything tasty! Will for sure come here again when I'm in...

We went there twice and we will keep going there. The location is exceptional, right next to the parc des plantes and the medicine faculty. The only downside is the slope when eating outside but it’s not a deal breaker at all. Great atmosphere, however on Sundays it might be a bit crowded so I’d recommend calling for a reservation a day or two before. The food is really special everything has a little twist to it which makes the flavors really interesting. Both times I took the stracciatella burger and there’s nothing like it anywhere in the world (at least were I’ve been). The second time we shared a beef tataki which was a delight ! If you’re around the area and you haven’t visited yet I don’t know what you’re waiting for.

We ordered 2 steaks, 1 burger and a couple of more plates and also quite a bit of drinks, the Daiquiri with Basiliko was especially amazing and the other drinks were very good as well. The steaks were all either a bit overcooked in general or a bit undercooked in the middle (we ordered medium - rare) but still very good for the price at least for me. On one of the steaks and on the burger we found a piece of wire from a sponge hiding in the fries but the problem was sorted very quickly and conveniently by the staff who were excellent in general.
