Read moreTOURIST TAX ALERT! I debated whether or not to post about this but decided that fellow travellers need to be aware. I ordered a Formule Petit Déj for breakfast off the FRENCH menu which is €7. The meal was fine. But when I asked to pay the bill, the server verbally told me it’s €8 (first red flag as no paper bill was provided). I thought I remembered it wrong, and wasn’t ready to make a scene in a foreign country for €1. But afterwards, I checked again and, sure enough, it was €7. I’ve heard of this kind of nickel and dime trick against tourists but didn’t think it’d be so brazen. They probably counted on me not returning and not bothering with arguing the bill. It is an insignificant amount but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Well, now for a mere €1, they earned a one-star review. It’s quite silly to be honest. Read moreBroc Café is great! I like the food, the beer and the atmosphere. It is always packed with people (and so it is loud) but somehow they still find a couple more places for you. Even with so many people, drinks and food arrive quickly. I think they really figured out how to run a bar with this big a capacity. The waiters, bartenders, cooks work really hard, yet everyone is friendly and attentive. Respect!

I sampled much of their menu outside of appetizers and desserts. Found everything tasty! Will for sure come here again when I'm in...
