Napoléon Dynamite — Restaurant in Montpellier

Went there since the reviews and the photos on Google were good. Everyone was getting a table so we did the same but the manager or whoever who was working there told us to get up and go wait in the line. Btw there was no line. Another person from the staff came out of the restaurant and placed us to the same table 10min later ??? Anyways. We ordered, food which was served 15min later and it was disgusting. No flavour, plates were so small, and nothing exceptional about the dishes. 18€ for one egg Benedict on a small brioche toast and 17€ for the smallest pancake I’ve ever seen in my life with an egg on top. Don’t get me started on the ice latte. Tasted like disgusting bitter water with a hint of coffee. The worst coffee of my life. It was I think 4.50€. Why ???? The only « good » thing was the homemade lemonade. It was bitter but we needed something to forget the taste of the coffee and the food.

The staff was rude af. One lady stepped on my dog and didn’t even apologize. We asked for the check 4 freaking times !!!! We waited 20min to get the check. They didn’t even tell us to scan the QR code and pay. We scanned it and the code wasn’t working so we had to got at the front and just pay there. We’ve asked 3 times to go pay at the front and they just told us to wait just fyi.

Horrible experience and I’ll never go there again or recommended it to someone. You should go to a cheaper brunch place with better staff and food. This is not worth anyone’s...

Worst brunch experience I’ve ever had! I’ve never been treated with that much disrespect by a waitress and the food was not good and expensive. After waiting for 45 mins for a table, we were allowed to sit at a table for 4 outside as a group of 6, since we said only 4 of us wanted to eat. Only after escorting us to the table, the waitress asked what our two friends would be doing without chairs, only then explaining they would only be allowed to pull up chairs if they would eat a full meal. This type of behavior continued - we weren’t allowed to order until our drinks arrived at which point some of the food options were gone and even when there were several free tables around us we weren’t allowed to grab an extra chair (even after everyone was forced to order a main meal). The food was also not good - i got the eggs Benedicte and the hollandaise was very thin and tasted nothing like hollandaise, the egg was really cold and not runny and there was no avocado. Ive never left a negative review before but this was the the worst experience I’ve ever had in a cafe/restaurant. The waitress was hostile and got our order wrong. When we told her that it wasn’t what we ordered, she took it back to the kitchen then came back and angrily told us that we had to pay for both dishes if we wanted the correct one as if it was our fault she had gotten the order wrong. It was absurd. She finally bought us the correct dish after a long wait when we didn’t know what was happening. We then waited another half an hour for our coffees. We were told they were on the way but eventually the same waitress told us they were never made as she had forgotten to put them through. At this point we just wanted to get out of there.
