SMOKY GRILL BURGER — Restaurant in Montpellier

We wanted to find a good go-to burger place and decided to try Smoky Grill Burger based on other reviews. The burger came on a fresh bun with a smash-burger style beef patty. I got the Classical because I wanted cornichon, the cheddar cheese was good and plentiful, the seasonal lettuce was Arugula (which I love), and I was so happy they did not add tomatoes (since they are not in season). How smart is that?! The fries, which come with all burgers, were nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly. The price is right at around 10 euros a burger. The best burger I've had in Montpellier, perhaps in all of France. The bread is where so many French burger joints fall short, often feeling stale in the mouth when you take a bite. The bun here was outstanding, fresh tasting, and the light toasting was a nice touch. The patty was cooked to order, and the garnishments were flavorful, especially the cheese. Nous avons commandé sur uber eats car il y avait une promo 1 acheté = 1 offert sur le Crunchy, et qu'on aime bien tester de nouveaux établissements. On s'est ré-ga-lés, on a vraiment été surpris par la qualité du burger et des frites. Le pain était vraiment agréable et savoureux, l'ensemble du burger était vraiment top, et la roquette a sublimé le tout. J'ai pourtant mangé beaucoup de burgers, notamment sur montpellier, et j'ai trouvé que c'était dur de faire meilleur. Ca ressemble à "un vrai burger" et non un burger de fastfood tout plat avec un pain livide, aux ingrédients sans intérêt, le tout rattrapé par un surplus de sauce. Actuellement, la seule chose qui m'empêche de commander plus souvent c'est qu'on ne peut pas payer avec une carte restaurant numérique (comme proposé par Swile).
