Been there 2-3 times for coffee and dessert. The location is perfect and the interior is impressive. We visited the cafe both in the summer and the winter. Our last visit was on a Saturday afternoon. The cafe was packed but we were lucky to find a really nice window table. Waiters don't take orders, so customers need to queue in the interior to order and pay. This creates a continuous flow of people in and out of the cafe which is a bit noisy and messy sometimes. The staff was kind and service was quick. Read moreGreat place for brunch - had a delicious iced café au Lait with coconut milk and the eggs Benedict. The price was very reasonable. They made my bacon crispy just as I asked, which is not something a lot of places are willing to accommodate, so I was extremely grateful. All the staff we interacted with were lovely and kind.
The negative reviews I saw seemed to come from entitled or impatient customers. We saw several ourselves who didn't seem to notice the signs on all the tables stating you need to order inside. Went back this June, 2022. Definitely improved service and pastries and drinks as good as ever. I wonder how the small staff would cope with a rush but pleased to see some return to form. My one-star review of a year or two back follows.
