Billie's — Restaurant in Nantes

This is the worst service I have ever had in my life! They take advantage of the fact they are in a quiet and beautiful location! The service is disgusting! First of all, I came and there were many free tables, despite this, you need to stand in line. We waited for 17 minutes! Half of the people just left. The waiters walk around relaxed and are not particularly eager to serve. When I asked "how much longer should I wait?", the waitress started explaining a lot about how they are trying to be polite and serve everyone. And talk too much…..she didn’t answer my question. And since I am asking directly "how much longer should I wait?", she said I should leave this cafe in this case. I said I just want to eat and I do not have enough time because I have a train. she sharply said "we only have drinks". But I saw that people were eating. A MUST VISIT!!

After a long day stretching my legs and eating everything in sight, I seen this place next to the river with it's deck chairs ready to take in weary travellers.

They spoke English and we ordered two fine coffees but the food menu looked great also. We were already bloated from French breakfast 🥞

Charming interior with unisex toilet, wonderful and happy staff. It was our pleasure to be there for a while next to the serenity of the Loire river.

Really excellent place to go for great service - young, friendly, helpful team. There was so much delicious options but we both needed a large breakfast - with a dirty mocca and cappuccino. It was delicious. Small error in the order process was very quickly rectified with a compliment cookie on payment. You need to get here early or be prepared to queue. Seats also outside by the river which works for us northern Europeans even when locals are feeling cold. 😁 Well done to this team.
