Omg this place, where do I start?! Is it that they allowed me to come in 30 mins before start time? Or that the jovial gentleman in the back removes hot bread from the tandoor and walks around giving it away to people in the shop for free? Or the kind ladies who serve you in the front, or the kind people who come to eat there? Or all the smiles and the epitome of Arabic hospitality?

How can I forget the food - the best mezzez, lavash bread hot from the tandoor, smooth hummus, muhammara, baba ganou, pickled olives, taboulleh and more. I cannot recommend this place enough. There was absolute silence on my table as I stuffed my face and went to heaven.

I had an invite to a friend's house the next day and I took away a parcel of sweets from here. Very affordable, very delicious and very warm.

When I arrived in Nantes from Canada, I asked around for a good place to enjoy authentic Middle Eastern food — and Voyage à Damas was highly recommended. I’m so glad I followed the advice!

The food was absolutely delicious — everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The za’atar manakish, shawarma Sao falafel, and Muhammarab were all outstanding. You can really taste the quality in every bite.

What truly stood out was not just the amazing food, but the warm hospitality. The staff were incredibly kind, generous, and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The place is also very clean and well-kept, which added to the overall great experience.
