Tartines et Bouchons — Restaurant in Nantes

A little "brasserie" downtown of the city, that doesn't fancy from the outside, a bit old fashioned but my oh my! Once you push the door, you are flooded with crazy kindness and fantastic smells. They offer a homemade cuisine of the region with a nice variety of super wines. Portions are generous and they always suggest which wine would go with your dish. They also explain what's in the dish and how it's cooked, which makes it even more interesting. I was amazed! Une très belle découverte, hier soir, que ce bistrot nantais. Excellents produits permettant un bon résultat à l’assiette : un bon carpaccio aux 2 poissons (très frais en qualité, manquant juste un peu de fraîcheur en température) ; en plat, une planche avec une viande très goûteuse et respectant la cuisson demandée, accompagnée d’excellentes pommes de terre en marmite. En dessert, une très bonne tarte maison aux abricots, avec pâte sablée fondante... Les portions ne sont pas énormes, mais bien suffisantes pour le dîner. Apprenons à manger moins mais mieux 😉 Du très bon vin (le patron connaît parfaitement le vin, sait vous conseiller en fonction de vos goûts et de votre repas). D’ailleurs la décoration du bistro en atteste. Vous comprendrez vite que le patron a beaucoup d’humour, sauf si vous voulez prendre juste une photo de vos plats (pour en faire des commentaires élogieux sur Internet), car le patron n’aime pas du tout voir traîner vos téléphones portables sur la table... 😉
