We wanted real, traditional food and we founded it! it was not in the city center, but just a short walk in the old city. The chef is Italian and that makes for a very interesting and diverse dinner- lunch menu. We chose the cassoulet with confit duck leg and the coq au vin, both were exquisite, if I had any more space I would go for the homemade gnocchi. We had an interesting chat with the chef and guests seated outside on the patio, this is the kind of place you just don't want to leave, chatting and sipping rose wine til closing time. Our waitress, Nadege, was very pleasant, inviting, and full of great suggestions and stories. A truly enjoyable experience with great food and great people, we will come back if in that region .

We wanted a traditional or regional lunch, and just few steps into the old city, we found a pearl of a restaurant. Au coq hardi had a tempting menu and delivered beautifully. We choose the cassoulet and coq au vin and both were amazing. Even more surprising the chef was Italian and if I had any more space I would try the home made gnocchi. We did however try for dessert the tiramisu, strongly suggested by our amazing waitress Nadège. We had a brilliant time visiting with the chef, Nadège and fellow guests on the outdoor seating. For the quality of the food, the entrees are reasonably priced. We will come back, a must try while in town.

C'était la plus bonne dîner que nous avons prendre à Narbonne. Homemade, local fare, that the locals frequent. Started with the smoked salmon starter, which was fresh and delicious, easily enough to share for 3/4 people. Then moved on to the mains, I had the coq au vin, absolutely delicious and the addition of a local sausage in addition to the traditional lardons the the recipe was very nice. My companion had the côté d'agneau which was equally delicious. Along with aperitifs (Pastis) and a demi of local wine, this was a memorable meal. Definitely recommend if you are in the area and it is tucked away past the main touristic strip.

Me and my partner came here with our hearts set on the cassoulet. I have never tasted anything so delicious in my entire life. Each spoon of beans and meat was a trip to heaven. The flavours were so well balanced everything was godly cooked. The service was very nice, the setting is very rustic, the wine was delicious. Do not miss. If we ever have the chance to visit Narbonne we will definitely have that cassoulet again.

I recommend the best place to try French national food practically made at home Bombically cassoulet eggplant in cheese Bombically burgers with chopped meat guys are very tasty thanks to the cook and special thanks to the waiter for his efforts and kind relations I hope that his chef encourages and gives a bonus for his efforts Be sure to leave him a good tip, his work is worth it.

I had an amazing food here, including the coq au vin which was fall-off-the-bone. The burger was also a proper steak burger down medium rare. The price was also reasonable, though the service seemed a little disorganised. But would come again!
