Tablao Flamenco — Restaurant in Narbonne

On recommendation we visited the Tablao Flamenco and we were pleased with the presentation and cooking of our meal, so we reserved the full restaurant for our 2019 New Years eve party and agreed a menu with wine for a fixed price with the proprietor for 20 people. Several people in our group complained of poor entrée's, undercooked food, lack of vegetables, poor desserts. The meal served was certainly not what was agreed for the fixed price and even the wine chosen to complement the meal was substituted for a cheap vin de table. It spoiled our whole groups 2019 New Years eve party and we definitely won't recommend it to you. The owner claims the restaurant was closed, in fact it was open in 2019. We did not visit for New...

The worst restaurant I have been to in a long time, the tapas were all reheated frozen food (we actually saw them taking the packaging out of the kitchen), the so-called home-made sangria was clearly out of a bottle with a few slices of recently cut orange floating on top, the service was slow though the fault was with the kitchen not our waiter. The absolute opposite of what Spanish food should be. Stay away, there are plenty of excellent restaurants...

We had two appetizers (octopus and grilled peppers) and the seafood paella. Everything was done to perfection. The paella was filled and topped with clams, mussels, scallops and huge shrimps and langostinis. We have had paellas in many cities in Spain and this was even better. The service was quick and professional. We highly recommend this restaurant and we look forward to going back before we leave Narbonne at the end...
